Dave Benning Arts: Celebrity Painting, Portraits of Musicians, Commissioned Paintings of Athletes

September Exhibition

For the month of September Dave will be part of a group show at the Leighdon Studio Gallery on West 3rd in Vancouver. He will be showing up to 7 brand new pieces for his exhibition entitled "The 27 Club" The Hendrix shown here is the first piece, and others including Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Robert Johnson and Brian Jones will also be shown. The 27 Club theme is a collection of famous Musicians who all passed away at 27 yrs of age. "This collection will all be done in a slightly different style that I am developing. I am really looking forward to the Exhibition".
